Just in case you’re checking:
This is the week that was.
First, Soren got a visitor from the man who owns property near us where Soren had been hanging out. They thought they were on one person’s property, but apparently had crossed the line, and the fun they thought they were having was taken as malicious mischief. Big expense, big apology.
Then, Soren is driving and we are rear-ended on the highway by a person who had dropped his soda in his lap. Whiplash for me and Soren, and concussion for Soren.
Accident resulting in the car being totaled, and us not having any transportation because Bob had the other car at work and was out of town.
Cait spent most of the week trying to get the prospective employer to CALL HER REFERENCES, and to provide p;hone numbers and emails etc. Which finally resulted in her getting her job, and we are moving her this weekend.
And Andrea spent a lot of time working on job applications for the school district, when out of the blue on Friday she got a call from her old employer asking her to come back at twice the salary, with a more appropriate job description and job title. Starting in two days.
Bob and Andrea finally decided it’s too hard to agree on what car to buy to replace the van, and so we are trying to be a one car family, at least for the summer. It could happen…. At least we’ll save on insurance and possibly be good for the environment. One step away from the consumer lifestyle.
And, Elizabeth discovered that she passed ALL her courses, and did pretty well. 2nd highest grade in the class in one of them! I’m not proud.
Moving on to the the 4th of July! It will be a hot one.

Your family DID have a busy week. Me, I just go to work, then I come home. I'm sorry to hear about the bad news, but I'm really happy about your new job!! I'd love to hear what really happened sometime when you aren't overly busy.
