Well, yesterday, it became Spring.
Doing the dishes in the morning, I could hear the birds. We have a thrush who frequents our back yard. Thrush look somewhat like robins, except they have orange stripes near their eyes, and they have a breast band - like a flicker, only the thrush band is darker.
The birds are getting louder, so I know good things are coming.
But, just so we don't forget, we did have a few days of winter. It got cold, it snowed (even in Vancouver, it can snow). We had to break out the old snow shovel to clear the walk, and we put on the studded snow tires. Soren missed three days of school, and my school was closed for two days. But, the upside was, we had days of beautiful snow, and the inability to go anywhere. Enforced play, for Soren - and enforced relaxation for me. Such a pity.
